The Maliko SUP race fin so light that it floats

The MALIKO SUP race fin has earned a reputation for amazing speed, drive, stability and tracking. This is the SUP race fin which riders such as Bart de Zwart and Ryan James (5 x UK SUP Race Champion) trust to help guide them on race day. The Maliko is very different to other fins currently on the market and features a thicker foil for increased lift, this helps to propel the rider forward with every stroke and increase glides on downwind runs. The 45 degree rake effectively sheds weeds as you track straight as an arrow. Up to this moment the only criticism which we have received is not based on performance but on weight. Utilizing an optimized foil which is thicker than others and constructed in our Black Ed. G10 the Maliko is super durable but heavier than many. With this in mind we decided to make a Pro Carbon version, made from high grade carbon in our dedicated fin factory. Rather than just making a lighter version we decided to make one so light that it floats. Given its volume the new Maliko is incredibly light at 170 grams (just under 6 ounces)! The weight to volume ration means that it actually floats freely in water.

The Tiger Sup race fin as used by Sonni Hoenscheid to win the 2015 EURO Tour will also be receiving the same carbonization in the weeks ahead.
